^{"The Butterflies of Our Local Park" by John Swales, Marcy Breslow and Judy Lobato is based on observations collected in our very own Greenview Nature Area. It is loaded with beautiful photographs and fascinating details about the more than 50 species of butterflies that visit Greenview, and includes a history of the nature area, descriptions of butterfly habitats, and summaries of butterfly surveys. The authors hope the book will inspire and encourage others to undertake “citizen science” projects by recording their observation of nature and making them publicly available.
